Privacy
Last updated October 21, 2026.
We collect only what we need to make and ship your map, and we don't sell your information.
What we collect
- Your design: the place you search for and the options and text you choose.
- Order details: your name, email, phone (optional) and shipping address, collected by our payment processor at checkout.
- Basic usage: privacy-friendly, cookie-free page statistics (Plausible).
- Advertising: the Meta pixel, which tells Meta when someone who saw our ads visits, adds to cart or orders, so we can measure the ads.
- Your approximate location, if you arrive from an ad: we look up the town your internet address belongs to, on our own server using a local copy of the free DB-IP database, so the first map you see is of somewhere near you. Your address is not sent anywhere and is not stored.
- Site improvement: Microsoft Clarity records anonymized clicks, scrolls and page interactions so we can see where the designer is confusing. Text you type into forms is masked.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to take payment. Your card details go directly to Stripe.
- LumaPrints, our print partner, receives your print file and shipping address to make and deliver your order.
- Our email provider, to send order and shipping updates.
- US Census Bureau geocoder, which receives the address text you search for, to find it on the map.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for accounting and tax purposes (typically 7 years). Print files are deleted after 90 days.
